New TableTop Exercise for You and Your Labs!

EPA is hosting a free tabletop exercise webcast that examines the coordination of laboratory services in response to a drinking water contamination incident. The scenario-based exercise will provide participants with the opportunity to answer questions based on their real-life experiences and knowledge of emergency response practices and procedures contained in the Water Laboratory Alliance (WLA) Response Plan (WLA-RP).

This exercise will feature a scenario and facilitated discussion period similar to that of the tabletop exercise presented during the 2013 WLA Security Summit in Chicago, Illinois. This webcast series provides a great opportunity for those that were unable to attend the Summit to receive first-hand experience with the emergency response “best practices” and Water Security tools and resources presented in Chicago. We encourage you to forward this email to anyone in your organization you feel would benefit from this training course.

EPA will be offering six dates for the tabletop exercise. To register for the exercise and select the date of your choice, please visit: http://water.epa.gov/infrastructure/watersecurity/wla/training.cfm.
